HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

 

                Peñafrancia Elementary School Annex was established on June 2000-2001 as an incomplete ementary school headed by Mrs. Dolores Agong from 1993 to 1998, followed by Mr. Mario Naungayan 2000-2002, Mrs Bernadette Berber 2002-2005, Mrs Jocelyn Montes 2005-2007, Mrs Bernardita Estanislao, July 2007- May 19, 2008,

                The School has a total land area of nine hundred square meters ( 900 sq. m.). It is 4 kilometers away from the Division Office of Antipolo City.

                Today, the school has 9 regular/permanent teachers, 421 learners and a School Head that monitors the activities of the school and works on physical and general improvement of the institution. Teachers and Learners are utilizing  8 classrooms intended for instruction and 1 ICT Room. The office of the Principal is situated at the back of the Kindergarten room, a temporary office that welcomes visitors to discussed important matters that concern instruction, and vital issues to be addressed.

                The School’s protection on property is also an accountability, authority, and responsibility of the school manager, staff, Barangay and community as well.

                The school’s clienteles are children of vendors, laborers, teachers, drivers, farmers, store owners, and families from NCR who were relocated near the school’s site. Individual differences are manifested among the residents on how they struggle poverty and financial burdens. The issue on financial matters however, is viewed by the people in the community as a challenge to finish their education and earn degree for better job opportunities outside the teaching institution. The parents are cooperative, responsive and supportive on all school programs and project to better-off the quality of education.
